We are delighted with our beautiful backyard designed and executed by G & L Design. From start to finish the project was carried out with professionalism, and tremendous attention to detail. The Senior Designer, William Moss, listened to what my wife and I wanted, and drew out a beautiful design. Dee Skolnick, the owner of G & L, personally oversaw that Bill’s design was executed so that what was drawn on paper was beautifully brought to life. The crew of guys who demolished my failed attempts at landscaping, who put in the water efficient drip system, and planted, and landscaped the yard were hard working, happy, and courteous. When the project was all done and I was writing Dee the final check he corrected my calculation, giving me several discounts saving me money and who wouldn’t be happy about that in this economy? G & L did beautiful work at a great value and they’re good people too. I highly recommend them. We love our backyard!

When I contacted G & L Landscape & Design Service to do the landscape and hardscape at a home I was building in Tarzana, I must say i was a little skeptical. I didn’t think it was necessary to hire a professional for the final phase in my homebuilding experience. After meeting with you to go over the design, I realized that I woul’d have been in trouble had I tried to go it alone. Being the final phase before my property was to go on the market you understood how important timing was. The work performed was done on time and the finished product was even better than I could have imagined. We want to thank you for all of your hard work and professionalism. We have lived in my home for 23 years. The backyard has been a source of embarassment. We always kept the window coverings closed to avoid looking at it. Thanks to you, the drapes are now open! We previously had an ugly cement slab for a patio, and our neighbors deck, covered by trees, for a view. You came and suggested staining our deck, worked around our trees, and gave us a beautiful yard. The sprinkler system you set up kept our yard green and lovely through a summer of water restrictions. When I called the ofice Sharon was always kind and helpful.
